Financial discipline is the reason I'm able to build this app
Hi there, I'm Arpit 👋
I've worked for some of the biggest software companies globally – all while living in India, in a city where tech is non-existent. I managed to attract those opportunities because I spent a lot of my own time creating educational content about data and distributing it for free. And I was able to charge a lot for my work because I was able to say no to most, made possible only due to sound financial planning.
I grew up learning about the importance of saving money – it's one thing that my father had drilled into me. I also saw firsthand the importance of planning for the unforeseen and having a corpus saved for when times get tough (they usually do). So as soon as I started earning regularly, together with my wife, we started logging every expense using an app called Monefy.
Over the years, as we started reaping the benefits of this habit, I began to envision the perfect app that would help me overcome the limitations of Monefy and get rid of the stuff I deemed unnecessary. It took a while but thanks to the financial discipline, I managed to buy time to realize that vision. I'm incredibly happy with the first version of the app and I hope you will give it a try!
